ICE is requiring immigration lawyers to bring their own protective gear when visiting clients in ICE detention. They will not be allowed to visit their clients without the medical gear, which consists of vinyl gloves, N-95 or surgical masks, and eye protection. This decision, which was rolled out over the weekend, comes during a national shortage of medical protective gear for doctors, nurses, and civilians.
