If you own a small, women-owned or minority-owned construction company and want the inside scoop on how to get a subcontract, school is in session.

The Turner School of Construction Management is running an 8 week course designed to help small, women-owned and minority-owned construction businesses boost their growth by learning how to successfully bid on and win construction subcontracts. The course starts on March 13 and will be held at Howard University. Best of all, attending the program is FREE.

The program, offered since 1969, has proven to be a good source of construction subcontractors for its organizer, Turner Construction, the second largest general contractor in the Washington metropolitan area. Many of the program’s graduates have gone on to form joint ventures with Turner.
