As of July 28, USCIS will reject initial requests for DACA, reject new and pending requests for parole “absent exceptional circumstances,” and limit DACA renewals to one year. The Trump administration will “take time to consider the future of the DACA policy.” DHS also emphasized its position that Congress should create legislation on the matter.
