The Department of Homeland Security announced that Polish Nationals will shortly be eligible to apply for visa-free business or tourist visitor travel to the U.S. This will be put into effect on November 11 and from November 11, Poland will officially be part of the 38 countries that already participate in the B-1 Visa Waiver Program. Polish Nationals will then be able to submit their applications for visa-free travel on the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).

The Visa Waiver Program grants nationals of participating countries the benefit of traveling to the United States for a duration of 90 days without needing to obtain a B visa. B-1 business visitors must engage in activities that comply with the regular and allowed B-1 business activities.

Applicants who hope to travel to the US under this Visa Waiver Program will have to apply at least 72 hours before the intended travel.

The Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) does not guarantee nationals admissions into the United States but the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CPA) makes the final decision at the port of entry in regards to admission of nationals under this Visa Waiver Program.
